I had my eyes lasered about 14 months ago and am very happy with the results. Wish I'd had it done years ago! It's not the most pleasant 10 minutes or so you'll spend in your life, but its bearable and waking up the following day and not having to reach for glasses is absolutely fantastic.
I'm planning to get eye lazer treatment done myself. So far as what I hear from people is that their eye sight is now much better than normal ever since they got lazer treatment.
However, I also heard that it affects the liquid in your eyes, i.e Tears. Could make them dry therefore you've to use eye drops. Other than that you would be good to go!

Freaking expensive. Just wear glasses and then have some cool looking shades. When you go get your glasses ask the sales persons advice on the best one they think. It may be best to have a friend or two with you on the pic. I recommend Lens Crafters but there are some other good places out there. Lasic and Laser is for middle upperclass to at least rich. Poor and middleclass cant afford it. Theres you answer.
i know somebody who has and they are satisfied and they have 20-20 vision, but i also know somebody who has implantable contacts and are extremely satisfied because now they have 25-20 vision so you might want to consider that. also both of these people started out with terrible vision
My wife has had both eyes done about 2 years ago. !00% happy. Went back for 2 check ups and had minor adjustment (which she was told was expected).
You don't suffer or really know anything about it even though you are "awake" during the op.
