Right eye heavily twitching?`?!

Question: Right eye heavily twitching?`?
My right eye has been twitching quite heavily, constantly, for over a week now. It's really annoying and I have done some Internet research on it but most sites say it could be a major problem.

Both my eyes are perfectly fine & i've never experienced any problems with them before, it's just that every now and then, the right eye twitches and it's the most heaviest twitches i've ever had, for a very long period of time too.

Thanks in advance

Eye twitching can come from stress around the eye or in general. If you're behind the computer or reading a book for large amounts of times, the eyes begin to get tired and may twitch, similarly if you're under a lot of stress your eyes may twitch because of this. I wouldn't worry about it being anything serious, if it continues to happen after a few weeks I'd suggest you have your eyes tested just to be sure.

Twitching can be caused by a variety of reasons. First be sure you don't have a lid infection. Is it red, itchy? Are you on the computer a lot? Do you have neck tension? Do you have an uncorrected prescription?

My experience has shown neck tension to be a factor. See your eye doctor and/or chiropractor.

I think twitching is a sign of low magnesium or potassium? i think! look it up, twitching is to do with your nervous system i think.

You may be lacking in something. Twitches are annoying especially if it happens when you are directly talking to someone
