Mine certainly did when I had them about 40 years ago. As you say its diffficult spending time without glasses if your vision is fuzzy and they aren't wonderful for dancing in, or indeed very romantic if you want to kiss. They also give massively better vision as you have better all round vision and iits far more natural.
the only disadvantage to lenses is the cost . These days soft lenses are easy to wear so you don't even have a painful waering in time. Give it a go.
contacts really helped me! i used to be really shy, and everyone used to tease me about it. so i got contacts and now im really confident! they hurt at first, and you have to get used to them. but ive been having them for about 4 years now. and i couldnt live without them! i have really bad eyesight too!

i was the same as you and looked like a real nerd with y glasses but once i turned 17 i got some contacts because i was going to a party and never wore glasses since! they make you feel much more better about yourself and you dont have to worry about where you put your glasses!!! Jx

MINED CONTACTS~That's the only place your going to get self confidence.Everything else is just temp,& the novelty wears off.Advice, keep an open mind and live -n- learn~
Its all about how you feel.
But personally I like a girl that isn't afraid to show how she really looks every now and then.
Yes they do. I strongly recommend disposable lenses.
