I have a stye on my eyelid. Should I throw away all of my makeup?!

Question: I have a stye on my eyelid. Should I throw away all of my makeup?
Answers:

HI, Q. Long time, no see. :) I'm sorry about your eye. Yes, you should throw out your eye makeup (and not wear any eye makeup right now) because a stye is commonly caused by a bacterial infection. They can also be caused by a blocked gland, but it's better to be safe than sorry. I hope you feel better soon. :)

The pores on your skin are protesting a bit. Don't apply the eyeshadaow or eyeliner for the next couple of days You have to assume your eyes are pretty enough as they are - they don't need highlighting.

My stepfather used to get styes quite frequently, but he was a railroader and knocked off work smelling of Diesel. He probably rubbed his eyes a lot as well.

It might be a good idea to toss your eye makeup - that is a good way to spread the virus. If it's in your mascara or whatever. you're more likely to be reinfected. "Smoky eyes"can be very pretty, but they're not worth losing your sight.

Just sharpen down your eye liner and yes throw away your mascara.
Also if you get a gold ring and rub it over the stye, you'll get rid of it faster.
Don't ask me how it works, but it does!
Good luck
