contacts keep moving around in my eye. is the base curve too big?!

Question: Contacts keep moving around in my eye. is the base curve too big?
like whenever i look to the left, my contacts stay in the middle so you can see the contacts because they're not aligned with my pupils.
is the base curve of the contacts too large/small?

Answers:

When they float around, the base curve is too big.

A common problem with colored lenses though.
