Contacts help please!?!
Question: Contacts help please!?
but today i forgot i had them on, and hoped in the shower.. 5 minutes later i realized i had them on and immediately took them off. The left eye's contact took a while to take off and is now a bit red, the other eye is fine. My question is can i still wear the contacts that were exposed to water later today? like if i put them in the solution until later?
Answers:
They're done. Throw them away. Contact with fluoridated water ruins them and you increase your chances of infection. Also, one day's, in emergencies, can be worn for two days but they are not amenable to cleaning since they were never manufactured to withstand the stress of cleaning. Throw them out and get more. If you need an emergency supply until the ones you ordered come in, your Optometrists office may be able to help.

Go to http://www.1800contacts.com/default.aspx?ac=5.2351 and look on your boxes and tell your parents to enter the information and order them. You can rush the shipping i think
No, throw them away. One day contacts are called one day for a reason. Don't wear that pair anymore unless you want to damage your eyes.
