I don't like making eye contact with people. Is this a form of Autism?!

Question: I don't like making eye contact with people. Is this a form of Autism?
I am a bit awkward/shy and have difficulty making eye-contact with people. I find if I look at a person face-to-face I can't adjust my eyes to look directly into their eyes. Like, I will use both of my eyes to look at their left eye first...then move over to their right eye...but I get nervous staring someone in the eyes for too long and prefer to just look around their face.

Is this normal? I Googled this and it says it could be a form of high-functioning Autism?

Answers:

no its normal to feel awkward looking at someone directly in their eyes.

Use mirror sunglasses. It prevents those akward moments to happen. Also mirror sunglasses can protect eyes better than regulr sunglasses.
