Help! Why is my eyelid twitching!?!
Question: Help! Why is my eyelid twitching!?
Answers:
Eyelid myokymia typically involves the muscle of the lower eyelids; occasionally, one of the upper eyelids can be affected. In most cases, eyelid myokymia is benign, goes away on it's own, and not associated with any disease. Possible causing factors include stress, fatigue, and excessive caffeine or alcohol intake.
Treatment: Reassurance and reduction in causative factors, are appropriate for many patients.
When symptoms are severe, local (BOTOX?) injections of 2.5-5 units each to the affected eyelid region provide relief for 12-18 weeks. The efficacy of other agents has not been proven

It could just be from stress. The next time it happens, just breathe, and don't worry about looking like a freak. It will only make the twitching worse.
this can be quite normal. when ever my eyelid twitches it means i'm not getting enough sleep/rest.
