Question: How do i ask my mum for contacts?

Iv been wearing glasses for 5-6 years now (since i was 8 and im now 14) and i hate wearing them! i want to ask my mum for contact lenses but i dont think she will let me have them because when my sister was my age and asked for them she just said " you can only have them when your 16" . she now has contact lenses because she is 16. plus another reason she might say no is because i have a ￡10 contract phone that she pays for.
how can i ask for them so she will let me have them because i hate my glasses sooo much!!

Anyway, i have contacts now, and I'm 14. I convinced my mum by telling her i was getting teased in school everyday because i have glasses (but i made it up actually to get contacts). She felt guilty, so she gave me contacts :D
If that doesn't work for you then... keep asking? My brother kept asking my mum everyday if he could play soccer in a team. My mum got so sick of his nagging.. so to shut him up she got him into a soccer team. And now hes in the best team in the state, and one of the best players!!

Spell "mom" right you dummy. And try saying "Give me contacts NOW!!!" and if that doesn't work, a few threats to grandparents never hurt anyone.
