Is my eye contacts still re-useable?!

Question: Is my eye contacts still re-useable?
Ok, so i just got my contacts for yesterday, and this morning i was putting it on one eye in the bathroom. For my other eye, i accidently dropped my contact into the sink. The problem is, my sink is not that clean and i'm worried that it will cause me an eye infection. So, what do i do? I can't just throw them away because these are my monthly disposable ones. I have a contact solution that came with my eye contacts, and in the user manual, it has instruction that shows you how to disinfect- i have to leave it in the solution for at least 4 hours. So does this mean that it will be safe to use after placing it in solution for 4 hours? This solution is the only solution that i can clean my contacts with, because i can't use soap or anything... now i don't know what to do...

Help pls!
thanks

Answers:

Follow the instructions and do the soaking thing. I throw away lenses if i've dropped them on the ground and they have dirt all over them, but not if I've dropped them in the sink. The soaking solution is designed to disinfect and whilst your sink isn't as sterile as an operating theatre neither are your hands as clean as a surgeons. I've done this before and not got an infection. Its one of the reasons i have dailies as backups though as then I don't have to wait for the lens to soak.

Soaking will help. But if you feel any kind of irritation discard, it right away
