progressive lens for longsight good or bad?!

It may be difficult to use progressive lense in the beginning but its the best when you get use to it......

i am now both near and longsighted and have progressive lenses. I find them very good however if It didn't wear contacts I would be more doubtful as I don't like the way they work outside. Also if you watch TV lying down or read books in bed the bit of lens you are focusing through could be the wrong one and then they won't work for you. Its a very individual thing and the only way you are going to find out if they work for you is to take a risk .
