Is my bad eyesight related to my height? (details below)?!

No, eyesight is not related to height. If it were, short people would have good eyesight.

In your case your height probably has nothing to do with your vision, if you are healthy. There is a disease called Marfan syndrome where one of the common symptoms is nearsightedness and dislocation of the lens in the eye. I highly doubt you have this disease and you would have been diagnosed by now if you did.

I had a friend in high school who had Marfan syndrome who was 6' 7" and extremely nearsighted. He has never even had good enough vision to be obtain a driver's license.

Not exactly related to your height, but the growth spurts you went through to become that tall had an effect.

We see that all the time in teens who are already nearsighted. If they have a growth spurt of 3 or 4 inches in a short period like a year , the myopia always increases at a much faster rate too, compared to those who grow at a much slower rate.

Your height doesn't affect your eyesight. However its when you grow that problems with the shape of your eyeball show up. If all portions of you are still growing at 24 I would think it isn't impossible that the the growing ( not your height) might affect your vision for better or worse. I think you should ask the doctor /optiican about this. I can see ti might be difficult to get used to your height but once you get used to it its going to be a big advantage to you.

tall people do not necessarily have poor eye sight, but there are certain diseases, like Marfan's and other syndromes, where increased hight and poor sight are associated. your doctor should be able to tell you if you have any of those. other than that, the answer is no.

No, it doesnt. i have a few friends that are above 6' 5. but all of them have okay sight. except one that sits behind a computer all day. hes had eye surgerys because of it.

If you are too tall you won't be ble to see your feet clearly.
