You can easily check your minimal health care rates in internet, for example here - healthquotes.awardspace.info

It varies by location. If they know the branch is in a poor town then the prices will be lower. If you go to a branch in a rich area the price is higher. In big cities the price is higher too.

So if you want a cheap price try a really rough area where they dont get many folk walking into the shop (which forcing the price down)

If you get housing benefit you should get a free eye test off the NHS. It's worth phoning them up and asking. Income support I know for a fact you should, but not so sure on the housing benefit. I would think so though. : )

In scotland it is free. In england and wales it is free for you because you receive income. I think northern Ireland is the same.
