Symptoms of overwearing contacts?!

Question: Symptoms of overwearing contacts?
I always wear contacts and only wear glasses if absolutely have to or can't go with no contacts or glasses. This week my eyes are really scratchy with my contacts in, they're not red or crying but I'm not sure what the problem is, although I've had a couple of long contacts wearing days this week.

Is this a sign I'm wearing them too long or could it just be environment/computer use/air con etc?

Overwearing of contacts don't really have symptoms until its too late. For your situation how have to stop wearing contacts for a few days, im afraid that your eyes is injured from the scratching. Your contacts may have a slight defect or have protein deposit that makes it scratchy.

There are many possible answers to your questions. Maybe your contacts have a minor tear in it because you've been using them for a while. Maybe you have a semi dry eyes/ wearing the contacts for too long, and you need to regularly use eye drops to keep your contacts, and your eyes, wet. Your environment can play a huge part in this too -- the air conditioner may dry out your eyes and contacts, staring at computer for a prolonged time may tire your eyes or cause the eyes to blink less often, etc

If the above possibilities don't apply to you, go to your nearest optometrist, perhaps your contacts are of bad qualities.

Maybe you put them on the wrong way? Sometimes happens to me at times.
