Tickly, irritating sensation in eyes?? Getting worse. Why?!?!
Question: Tickly, irritating sensation in eyes?? Getting worse. Why?!?
This sounds kind of odd, but I have a really weird kind of tickly sensation in my eyes, that gets especially bad when I am looking at fast moving things, like playstation games, or reading scrolling text, to the point where I just can't continue looking at it.
It isn't exactly painful, but it feels like.... Like you know how it feels when you need to sneeze but you don't sneeze? That weird, fizzy, tickling, irritated sensation. Like that but in and around my eyes.
I have fairly poor vision, I wear glasses and I think I really need stronger lenses at the moment, as I struggle to recognise people or read signs until they are really close etc. etc.
So yeah, does anyone know what this could be? I can't find anything on "Google", which is my usual doctor.. Haha. Well, except something about Over Active Thyroid condition which can cause irritation in eyes, but the connection is kind of spurious, yet still worrying because I have other symptoms of that illness.
But so as not to digress; what is wrong with my eyes, and how can I stop it!? It's driving me crazy!
Thanks

Could it be eye strain? You say you need glasses - and if you haven't had your eyes tested in a while, that's the first thing I'd suggest you do. Mention it to the optician when you go.
Good luck.
I don't know I'm so sorry!!!
