Why is my eye twitching?!


Question: Why is my eye twitching?
its NOT my eyelid. It is my actual eye it feels kinda funny and i would love to know why its doing this and maybe how to fix it. Yes i wear contacts and yes i need to get a new pair but can't afford the exam atm.

I doubt your contacts would cause your eye to twitch. Common causes are lack of sleep, caffeine and anxiety. If it only lasts for 20 minutes or less I wouldn't worry much about it. If the twitching keeps coming back, a visit to your eye specialist or medical doctor would be in order. Sometimes thyroid problems can cause this disorder. Detecting thyroid problems involves a simply blood test.

I don't think your eye ball has the nerves to twitch. Your probably lacking sleep.
