Is wearing contact lenses better?!

I began wearing contacts when I was 14. They aren't difficult to put on at all, though at first they might be. After a while you get used to them. Your optometrist will be able to pick contacts suitable to your eyes and they will make sure what you wear is safe. They'll tell you how to take care of them and how to clean them, and if you follow their directions, you'll be fine! Wearing contacts is not difficult. You aren't too young at all, either. I personally like wearing contacts better than glasses, especially as an athlete. It isn't fun to wear glasses whilst running and being all sweaty, and having to push them up constantly. Also, glasses tan lines aren't fun either. xD Just tell your mom that you're responsible, and that you will be able to take care of them. If she doesn't agree, convince her to take you to your optometrist. Hopefully they'll be able to convince her to allow you to wear them. Also, try not to wear contacts everyday and for no more than 10 hours a day, if you wear them. I don't usually wear my contacts any more than 12 hours, and I wear glasses on weekends.
