could i need glasses? what to do? please help!?!

Question: Could i need glasses? what to do? please help!?
sometimes when i read the board at school i squint, but i don't think i have to. it's still clear without it but i still squint.. i don't know why. and like things far away go a little bit blurry sometimes. my eyes hurt a lot and i think that they feel strained. and i get headaches as well.
i went to the eye doctor a few months ago, and i am 13. i don't know if i should go again or not, but i don't know how i would tell my mom, or if she would believe me. also i tried my friends low prescription glasses on just for a few seconds and things seemed pretty clear.
do i need glasses? if so, how would i tell my mom that i want an appointment?
and what could my eyes be doing? any advice?
thanks! =)

Answers:

Tell your mother that you need to get an eye exam at a local eye doctor. If you have trouble telling her that then tell her that you can't see the board at school and she'll probably understand. And she probably try to make an appointment for you.

If you need more advice, get at mee :)

I'm fourteen years old & I wear glasses and contacts

yea that same thing happened to me last year when i was 13 also and now i wear glasses. the way my parents found out because i had my eyes check at school im not sure if you get that done in your school but just tell your mom that you cant see thing see things clearly and she might take you to the eye doctor. ohh and btw if you do get your eyes checked at your school your glasses are free.

personal experience

i have the same problem!!!! i squint at boards because it just feels right. i cant see upclose and ALWAYS get headaches. a few months ago i got my eyes checked, which wasn't a prob cuz i can see the faraway charts.
in school i went to the nurse and told her i couldnt see up close. she called my mom and i went to the eye doc. i got reading glasses. they really help a lot.
good luck :)
just tell ur mom your problem and shell wanna help you the surse thing works verry well
