Wearing contacts that are prescribed for someone else is like wearing there glasses. If you have different prescriptions, you will see blurry. You can go to the Optometrist and ask to try contacts (even if you have 20/20 vision) and they have contacts that have no power in them. You feel the contacts are first, you are aware of something in your eye. In a couple of hours, you don't feel anything and you forget you are wearing them.

Wearing prescription contact lenses or glasses with the wrong prescription will not effect your vision permanently, but you will not be able to see clearly when wearing the corrective lenses. It could be also be dangerous, like you could run your bike into a tree because you can't judge the distance or you could start having problems in school because you can't see the board and may not even be able to see your the notes you are reading or taking.

Anyone with normal eyesight will become either hyperopic or myopic if forced to wear prescription contact lenses for a long time. Not after just one day but definately after a year.
