It may be that your eyes are drying out during the day. Try using eye drops a few times a day. I recommend Systane Lubricant eye drops. They come in 2 forms. I like the preservative-free vials. They're great because they come in small vials you can carry with you. If your eyes begin to ache in addition to the veins and redness. you could have a situation of "dry eye". You can also try 625 mg omega krill oil once a day. It is a wonderful thing you can do for your eyes it's not just for when you have eye problems. It helps promote healthy eyes. Twinlab makes a great product found in vitamin stores. It is very potent and doesn't give you any fishy taste, as so many Omegas' do. Good luck . I hope this helps.
