Is this hay fever or do i have something in my eye?!


Question: Is this hay fever or do i have something in my eye?
My right eye is not itchy but is a little of a blood shot and it feels like theirs something in it. I used a tool yesterday and something hit my eye but i'm not shot if its in my eye of if its just hay fever. Also i feel it at the top of my eye lid but wheni check theirs nothing their. The particle hit my eye yesterday and their was no blood shot or soreness. Is this hay fever or is it the particle

It sounds more like you have a particle in your eye or may have scratched your eye. You really need to see an eye specialist to get it removed and ensure that it has not caused any other damage to your eye.

I've had hay fever for years and it caused my eyes to tear and itch, but I never felt as though I had something in my eye.

It could be either. Hay fever causes red eyes. Red eyes can be caused by allergies which causes inflammation. So your eyes could be a little inflamed and that is what is giving you the foreign body sensation. Or yes,. you could of gotten something in your eye which is causing it to be red. Normally hay fever happens in both eyes, it is bilateral.

4th year optometry student...graduating in 7 months!!!
