Do I have eyestrain.?!

Question: Do I have eyestrain.?
I am a 13 year old boy, I go on the pc for 7+ hours a day. I've noticed a few things that recently began just a few months ago. I'm curios if this is eye strain or something worse, I am an anxiety person and i have a few questions. I don't have anything to do so all I do is the computer please don't tell me to "go outside or make some friends" because I am not in a good environment.
I have.
- A very light burning sensation when I close my eyes.
- Wattery eyes.
- When I look at a light bulb outside at night, or in the house it has several crystals as if you were crying even if my eyes are not wattery. Try to get your eyes wattery then look at a lightbulb.
- Red lines in my eyes.
- Things from a distance are blurry, unless I squint it helps. I can't see stuff clear / like I am suppose to.
- Things from a distance are sometimes double.

Questions . ..
- Is eye strain permamnent.
- Can you go blind from going on the computer.
- Can it lead to worse things.
- Do you think I have eyestrain?

This is eye strain. Make sure you are at least arm length away from the computer and keep giving your eyes a rest every 20 minutes by looking at a distance and closing the computer screen for a while to avoid eye strain.

Good luck

You do have most of the common symptoms of eye strain.

You have to learn to use the computer wisely.

Keep the monitor at least 28 inches away , and train yourself to look away from the screen every few minutes, even just to look around the room , or out a window , for a minute or two. It soon becomes second nature to do that.

Then every hour, get up and walk around for 10 minutes to give your eyes and back , a break.

Over doing anything is never good.

You will never go blind from computer use, but your eyestrain won't get better as long as you keep doing what you are doing. Take a day off from it, then start again, but with lots of breaks.

You have many of the symptoms of eye strain as the other answerer said. Eye strain is generally a temporary problem caused by excessive computer usage or doing other close work like for long periods of time. If you remove or diminish the cause, (the many hours you spend on the computer) your eye strain would also diminish or resolve. Try resting your eyes for 15 every hour or so or see if there are safe after school activities you could get involved in, so you won't be on the computer so often.

A visit to the eye doctor would also be a good idea, just to ensure you don't need corrective lenses.
