I wear contacts during the day but take them out at night and wear my glasses

This due to many factors; Maybe only you got the bad gene from a distant family member, or you sit infront of the computer for long period without a break, or both.
From my experience, your eyes always get worse when you change glasses because the optical people try to please you every time you change your glasses by giving you more powerful glasses than what you actually need, which makes the deterioration of your eyes faster! Also, its a fact that most of the optical people, who make your glasses, do not get their machines precision-tuned, and the accuracy of these machines deteriorates in time and long use.
I am sorry to tell you that you have to wait few more years to get a Lasik procedure, but its a blessing for you that the technology is available for you at a young age. I got it done 5 years ago, and my son had to wait till he was 20 and he made it successfully last month.
It will stop, probably at 20 years old...Then it will get worse once you get old...After your vision stops changing for 1.5-2 years, you can get lasik...if you get it before, your vision will be 20/20 but then change(You can't get it twice)
Also, your eyesight is not bad...
My eyesight is -7 in both eyes (I am legally blind without correction (contacts or glasses))...As soon as my eye doctor lets me I will get lasik...

Everyone in my family is around 20/20, but I'm -19 in my right eye and -21 in my left. I wear the hard gas permeable contact lenses thought due to my nearsightedness and astigmatism. And as for your vision, it changes a lot while your growing. It usually get's worse in the teen years, which is why many teens wear contacts. With vision like mine and yours, it won't get much worse as an adult.
And good contact care. Always take them out at night and try to give your eyes a beak and wear your glasses on the weekends.
im going to be honest once your sight goes it will only get worse, and the things you may do like computer tv etc.. its will get worse gradually but not all at once. if you dislike bad eyesight wait until you can get lasik (or however u spell) when your 18.
