Are there any risks of Iris Color Surgery?!

Question: Are there any risks of Iris Color Surgery?
My eyes are really dark brown like this:

I don't want to change my eye color, to green or blue or anything like that - but I would just prefer lighter eyes like this:

I have come across this surgery online:

I would actually love to have lighter eyes (without using contacts) but I don't know what to think about this surgery though, sometimes it seems simple like they pop it in and the people just get on with their lives. Other people on the otherhand, stating how they have got glaucoma or various other altercations such as relying on eye drops for the rest of their lives - so can anyone please explain to me this surgery in detail and what are the negative side effects which are immensely at risk here - I would like lighter eyes a lot - but if there is serious problems which are bound to happen I will definitely not even think once. Thanks!

It is called Lumineyes and there are no website that offer this either in the US, UK or anywhere else. It has not been approved by the FDA and cannot be preformed in the USA and hopefully never will be. It has many of the same risks as Lasik but can also cause secondary glaucoma resulting in blindness and is more dangerous than Lasik. There is no American or UK website that even explains the procedure, which should be a good indication of the dangers involved.

Be happy you have good eyesight and I'm sure many people with light eyes would love to have your darker eyes. We are never satisfied with what we have.
