Gas Permeable contact lense question?!

Question: Gas Permeable contact lense question?
I've been wearing them for about 16 years and got new ones about two years ago. For the last few months i have had to keep taking them out during the day and cleaning them as i can't see through them - they go all blurred, as if they're sticky or dry or something like that. When i look closely in the mirror at them and blink, i see all the moisture disappearing off them. This is just a new thing that's happened and i'm wondering why as i'm thoroughly cleaning them and using new soaking solution each night. I've also tried the protein remover tablets but to no avail. Anyone had this before? Thanks x

I would go and see your optician. This happened to me and it turned out that it was a problem with my tear ducts and the tears were not spreading evenly across my eye. Like you I would get blurry moments. I still wear lenses, but not at work (because of the air conditioning) and I can't wear them for really long periods. If this continues I would get your optician to look at your eyes and your lenses.

Hermia is correct but it could as be protein build up in the lense. The protein would make the lenses blurry etc etc
