No, that would be impossible and illegal to do.

There are too many thousands of variations in prescriptions for nearsighted people for them to be ready made.

The correct placement of the optical centers is also very important in high powers like that also , which has to me placed right for each person.

Distance vision has to be precise . Magnifier glasses just to enlarge print, doesn't.

No they do not make generic glasses/lenses for Myopia (near sightedness).

The reading glasses are for those who are presbyopic not for hyperopia (far sightedness). Those who are presbyopic or have (age related inability to see objects within a few feet of their face, clearly) have this due to the elasticity of their lens being lost and thus the ability to flex it to focus on very close objects becomes compromised. The reading glasses are only effective for such close up material.. and this condition happens to everyone eventually.. so given the benign state and commonality of it reading glasses are found everywhere.

Even though seeing your eye doctor would still be optimal for even presbyopia.

The reading glasses will not function to allow those with hyperopia (far sightedness) to see properly. With hyperopia (the opposite of your problem) the individual can only see things quite a distance away.. IE: things even 5,6,7 (plus) feet away are blurry.. so some 'medium' and 'close' range is involved here. So reading glasses while potentially helping reading (not in all).. would not allow a hyperopic person to see remotely clearly in daily functions. It would be just blurry -- if you put on reading glasses and tried to walk around what you see would be just as a person who was far sighted would.

Your myopia allows you to see these 'medium' range and close objects -- but of course your far vision is compromised.

GIven your -10 diopter prescription,.. you still have a bit of room to go for 'increase'... And unfortunately nothing can be done aside from changing your prescription.

If your eyes lose their stability between routine eye visits I would bring the subject up with your eye doctor and make sure there is no associated eye disease that is contributing to your accelerated worsening of vision.

Many people have vision problems between visits like you do.. but as they get a little older the vision typically WILL stabilize with their Rx,.. and need to be slightly adjusted once a year or so.

You see your prescription glasses just like a hyperope are designed to be the refractive opposites of your deficit in vision.. they are shaped in such a way that the light hits the retina perfectly (or close). With myopia your eyeball is physically too short, in some way the path of light coming in to the retina becomes focused ahead of your retina creating a level of blur.. the glasses you wear counteract this effect. While simple it is complex at the same time.. Optometrists truly know a great deal about 'optics'..

Hope you get this sorted and/or your vision stabilizes sooner than later.

Do you already have eyeglass frames that you like? If you just want to replace the prescription lenses with your newest prescription, there is a specialized site called www.replacementlensexpress.com and they even have high index lenses for large prescriptions.

If you do indeed want new frames, you can either (a) buy them somewhere and then get the new lenses online (the lenses are the expensive part afterall) or (b) find frames that you like, e-mail them at info@replacementlensexpress.com and get a price on the frames, and do a one-stop-shop.

You can also e-mail the optician at the same address and ask him any questions you might have, especially if you're not sure which index lens to buy (e.g. 1.56 vs. 1.74).

Good Luck!
