Sticky contact lenses...?!

Question: Sticky contact lenses...?
Every time I take it out of my eye, the contact folds and sticks. I practically CAN'T open it... I put it in the solution, shake the case, try to unfold it, but still.... I pull it a little harder until it unfolds, but I'm afraid I'll tore it, and I don't want to... After I finally unfold it, it's a little wrinkled, but I put it in the solution, and it's fine after a while. Anything i can do without forcing it?

Answers:

Some contacts do fold more than others and once they fold they stick. Try putting it in the palm of your hand ( assuming your hands are clean) in a pool of cleaning fluid and gently rub it till it opens. Once it is open stick it in the solution fast. they are often a little wrinkled in solution and sometimes come out of their containers a bit wrinkled but once they are on the eye they become a proper contact shape. The thing to watch if they fold is if you end up with them the rigth way round - sometimes in unfolding them you can end up with them inside out which you will notice as discomfort or worse vision the next time you put it in.
