Toric lenses for astigmatism are available in + or - powers.

Being hyperopic, you would be in the + powers.

Only way to find out if YOU personally can get contacts, is to pay a visit to your friendly neighborhood optometrist, and an eye exam along with a contact exam, to see if your eye health is up to supporting the wearing of contacts.

You want to make sure your tear film can support wearing contacts, and that you don't have any surface problems on your eyes, that would prevent you wearing contacts.

I also have hyperopia and astigmatism and years ago my dr. said no but I think contacts have improved. But I am still not at ease with putting things in my eyes and the dust factor has been an issue for me. And contacts need more care and money.

But I have wondered what clear vision would be like without glasses. Good luck.
