High eye pressure..............?!

Question: High eye pressure..............?
Ok, so I have high eye pressure and have been on drops for ages to treat it. I also had an operation last year to help. Right now my eye feels uncomfortable and a bit painful, especially when I touch/rub it. What could this be and should I be worried?

Answers:

Glaucoma is what you have.
Most people do not think that it hurts. They are wrong--tho not everyone has pain. When the eye pressure gets too high--dangerously high it can hurt. It may also be more sensitive to touch.

Pls do not wait for getting this seen about if it continues even if it means calling the Emergency # of your MD--Ophthalmologist. They will tell you what to do--perhaps another drop or have you go to the Emergency room as this can be something that could damage your eye much worse or blind that eye.

You may have scratched it or have an infection brewing as well so it is not for sure the treatment--only your MD can make that call after an exam.
Do not play with this--your eyes are too important.

Best wishes

Try not to touch or rub your eyes for a day and see what happens, if they still hurt go see your eye doctor.
