Is .75 eyesight bad and what is it on a 20/20 scale?!

Question: Is .75 eyesight bad and what is it on a 20/20 scale?
I got contacts today and they gave me a .75 perscription.
Is it really bad?
& what is .75 on a 20/20 scale?
Should I worry about going blind or just wear my contacts and I'll be fine?

Sorry, i am not sure what .75 is on a 20/20 scale, maybe you should check with yr optometrist?
they will be able to tell you.
Your eyes arent that bad, wear yr contacts when you feel you need to, and try not to worry about anything, you will be OK.

You dont need to worry about going blind, yes its scary not being able to see, i totally know how that feels, my eyes are -8.0 and I cant see at all, you are very lucky that your eyesight is fairly Ok.
you will be OK

have worn contact lenses and glasses for years.

The easiest way to answer this question is for you to look around. Take a minute and look around you.

Did you? OK. Did you notice things that were clear and things that were fuzzy? That's how bad your eyesight is. Obviously it's not really bad.

And no, you don't have to worry about going blind.
