ok last night (Saturday) I bumped my eye into my friend's head and popped my blood vessel right above my eye, i got it checked by a doctor and she said I would be fine and I iced it but I got a black eye over night unfortunately and it's very swelled. I can't open my eye but it doesn't hurt. Oh and I have school tomorrow! Does anyone know if my eye will open by tomorrow? and any remedies or suggestions on healing?! Also, how do I cover with makeup?! Please help!

You did the right thing by seeing you physician first. He says you'll be alright.
I know the vanity thing that concerns you.
Just put a warm towel over you eye, for the swelling.
Get eyedrops to help the redness, and yes, put a little make-up
on before you go to school. You'll be fine in a couple of days.

Previous answer says warm towel...that is incorrect.
You need cold for that.
Wrap ice cubes in a towel and hold it to your affected area for 20 minutes per hour.
