Is it normal to feel dizzy and lightheaded after a higher Lens prescription?!

Question: Is it normal to feel dizzy and lightheaded after a higher Lens prescription?
I had a new eye exam and I went from using -1.75 in contacts to -2.50. The new prescription in contact is Absolutely great my vision is nice and crisp. However the new glasses that I purchased I just got them back today and Immediately after wearing my new glasses with the new prescription for only 10 min I felt incredibly Light headed and dizzy. Is this normal my vision is still crisp in the new glasses but I feel dizzy

Answers:

Yes that is normal. Your eyes have to get used to the strenght first, if it doesn't disappear after a few days go back to the shop and tell them your problem. Your Contacts might have a weaker strenght then your new glasses that you just got.

yes, very normal. your eyes are just adjusting to the new strength. it will take 1 or 2 days to go away.
