it's certainly possible but it takes time and patience. Besides the exercises you have to learn a few things regarding eyes and glasses. if you're nearisghted the best exercises can be found in this book:

There's also a forum:

I had a considerable level of nearsightedness (myopia) and now I've almost a perfect eyesight, but it wasn't neither easy nor quick. If you're not patient and willing to work on yourself, then nothing can help you.

Yup, and I ate 4 pounds of carrots every day for 2 years and the improvement in my vision was nil. My skin did turn a nice shade of orange. Then I know someone who tried eye exercises. He did those exercises for years and years and thought he had minuscule improvement in his visual acuity, unfortunately it was so minuscule that it did not change his corrective lens prescription. I often wonder how many people, including children have gone blind using and believing these old wives tales.

There is no scientific proof that eye exercises, eye vitamins or eating foods high in beta-carotene or lutein will improve visual acuity. Numerous studies have been conducted and continue to be conducted on this subject and to date all results are inconclusive

In order to maintain good eyesight, see an eye specialist for a comprehensive dilated exam every 2-3 years. do not smoke and try to avoid second hand smoke. Eating a diet rich in red, yellow and green leafy vegetables may help you maintain good vision, but will not improve it might also help avoid getting certain diseases, like macular degeneration and certain cancers.

Contrary to what most people believe, glasses do not improve your eyesight, but make your vision worse over time. Glasses and contact lenses are only a temporary fix. The glasses are doing all the work and your eye muscles weaken because they are under-utilized, so it is important to learn to take your glasses off, especially in situations where you do not need to use them.

The best way to improve eyesight is to use eye exercises. I personally have had a massive improvement in my eyesight.

It will take between 30-60 days of following a regime of eye exercises (depending on how bad your condition is and how often you follow the exercises) to significantly help your eye condition, although many people find improvements in a few days. Eye exercises can fix all common eye problems - they work by strengthening the eye and by relaxing the muscles (usually close work causes the muscles around the eye to be stressed and contracted, thus causing bad vision.)

For some free eye exercises visit a really good blog that i found:

To benefit the most from this you should wear your glasses/contacts the least amount of time possible and work 25 minutes each day on your eyes.

Never believe anybody's Aunt...lol...that is pure BS

There are no natural ways to improve your eyesight.

No foods, or vitamins, or exercises , or meditation , or anything else will work.

Unless you find a Wizard with a magic spell, your only solution is lasik surgery.

Believe it or not. My cousin wanted to be a Navy Pilot and failed the eye exam. The doctor told him to go home and eat carrots for a month. This he did and when he went back for the eye exam the following month he passed. Who knows, maybe this works.
