What could be wrong with my eyes?!

Question: What could be wrong with my eyes?
First off, I do wear contacts.

Now... For the past 2 weeks or so my eyes have been bloodshot red off and on, mostly when I wear the contacts. But I don't feel a single thing or notice anything until someone tells me something.

The only thing I can think of is that sometimes my left eye will get blurry (I think it's just my left) but it's only with the contacts on. The blurryness has been happening recently so I have been not wearing my contacts at home just to relax my eyes.

Other details: I have used Rohto Eye drops for the redness and they kind of work, but I stopped after two or three uses. Then I have also used the Optiv Solution Tear Eye Drops and they kind of irritated my eyes the other day so I stopped using them.

Other than that I have no problems with my eyes, no pain, dizziness, nausea, nothing... I don't notice a thing. The blurry thing happens very randomly and when I take the contacts off everything is fine. (But obviously my vision is blurry but normal)

First off, don't listen to the person before me. I seriously doubt they are an eye doctor, because any eye doctor would realize there are other symptoms associated with glaucoma that you do not have, not to mention that glaucoma is often treatable and does not always end up in blindness if treated correctly.

Anyway, blurriness is a symptom of a lot of eye problems. If the blurriness is only occurring when you have your contact lenses in, it's probably a mild infection. Or, your contacts might just be getting old. What you should do is refrain from wearing your contact lenses for about a week. Then, begin wearing them, but use a new set of contacts.

If this doesn't help, you most likely have a mild eye infection. Go to the eye doctor, and they will most likely prescribe you a sort of antibiotic eye drop similar to Zymaxid or Zymar (two very common antibiotic eye drops). Then your doctor will probably tell you to not wear the contacts for 2 to 4 weeks. Once you begin wearing your contacts again, your doctor will advise you to throw out your old contacts, contact lens case, and contact lens solution and start over with all new ones just in case they were contaminated.

Hope that helps

I've had way too many eye problems in the past.

Glaucoma ....

Kiss your vision goodbye permanently.

I am an eye doctor.
