Can estropia(lazy eye) be fixed with just glasses?!

Question: Can estropia(lazy eye) be fixed with just glasses?
I am 15 years old and got diagnosed with estropia( lazy eye) and in that eye, an astigmatism.
My lazy eye isn't bad at all, it's always straight unless I'm super tired.
My docter said that if I wear the glasses for a long period of time then eventually the glasses will fix the lazy eye even when I take the glasses off.

Is it likely that my lazy eye will be fixed with the glasses after awhile?
If you know nothing about this, please don't talk at all cause I don't want wrong facts, thanks!

My daughter has a very similar problem. Strangely, hers wasn't diagnosed as lazy eye (almost wasn't diagnosed at all). It's just a part of her particular vision problem. She's extremely near sighted but in a way that she can "Adjust" for. By tensing the muscles around the eye, she sees just fine, and it's almost indetectable that she's doing it. But, her muscles get tired, and then when she's very tired, her left eye drifts a little bit.

When she wears her glasses regularly, she doesn't strain her eyes, and so the eye doesn't drift at the end of the day. When she doesn't wear her glasses she gets headaches, stomache aches, and her eye drifts when she's tired. There are plenty of days that she doesn't think she has to wear the glasses since she can "See" just fine. But the fact is that she isn't seeing fine, she's tensing up the muscles around her eyes and causing strain.
