I think I am going blind or I have cataract.?!

Question: I think I am going blind or I have cataract.?
I am 13, I use the computer a lot. Now I am starting to reduce my computer usage time. Ok so, why do you think I have Cataract / I am going blind?
1 - I use the computer a lot.
2 - I have a lot of floaters.
3 - I see things doubled from a distance, lightly doubled. [ When I squint, the blur kind of takes away. ]
4 - From a distance, things are blurry. [ When I squint, the blur kind of takes away. ]

I don't know if this is eye strain or cataract, I don't know if I am just being a whiner / anxiety nerd. But I do have what I stated above.

Causes of Cataract.
Ciggerate smoking. - I don't smoke ..
drugs - I don't take eyedrops, or drugs.
diabetes - I don't have diabetes ..

What do you think this is? Help please, thanks!

You can't have cataracts because you're too young. Cataracts do not suddenly occur in such young persons, so don't worry. If you had cataracts squinting wouldn't help you. You're certainly straining your eyes with all the time you spend on the computer, but surely you won't get blind. You have probably nearsightedness and/or astigmatism, which are not a disease but a very common and benign vision problem. Glasses can give you normal eyesight while you wear them, but they won't cure it.

You need an eye exam and more than likely do not have cataracts at 13 (though possible, but very unlikely). You have overused your eyes on the computer and probably require glasses (though this could have happened whether or not you used the computer a lot). Not likely you are going blind either. See an eye doctor. You should be resting your eyes every 15 minutes while on the computer (simply looking into the distance or shutting your eyes for a few minutes is enough).

you need an eye exam. you,re spending too much time on the computer. cataracts are a slow, progressive condition. i,ve had them . they simply replace the clouded lens with new, synthetic lenses. you do not have cataracts. floaters are common, and can not be gotten rid of easily, if at all. use an eye lubricant. available otc at any pharmacy. your are at an age where you may need glasses. happened to me at 13. that,s why i suggested an eye exam.

i,m 63. lots of personal experience with "eye" issues.

this doesn't sound like cataracts at all! and you're not going blind.
stop being so paranoid.
sounds like you just need glasses or if you already where glasses then you need a stronger prescription.
go to your eye dr.

i'm 24 and i've had eye problems my whole life. i was born visually impaired. i've had 4 detached retinas (twice in each eye), and i developed glaucoma at the age of 11, and i developed a cataract a couple years ago and had it fixed in may 2009.
trust me i know eye problems.
