Question: NHS optical voucher - extremely short sighted?
I was wondering if anyone knew what optical code i would be on so I know how much i will get towards my glasses. Im really short sighted, I can't read anything that is more then two biggish steps away. Has anyone had a voucher for this?

If you don't want to ask teh optician how much is available to help you with glasses you could contact the Citizens Advice Bureaux who will have details on how much you can expect. I don't know if you get more if you have a higher perscription but it might be as well to have your perscription to hand. However I know that my opticians are very careful to help people with the NHS vouchers and know all the details - hopefully you have a helpful optician as well.
