I am 13, do you think I have cataracts?!

Question: I am 13, do you think I have cataracts?
I see blurry / double from a distance. Up close no, and when I squint it goes away. I'm 13 years old.
It's in both eyes, it's light blur from a distance only and it's only bad enough so that you can't reconize detail but when I squint most of it takes away. Not nothing big that effects me badly. I also notice shines / crystals coming from sources of light such as a lightbolb as if you were to look at a lightbulb while your eyes were watery. Is this something I should worry or panic about?
why don't you think this is cataracts

I'm thinking you might be a little nearsighted or maybe a have little astigmatism; these porblems can be corrected for with glassses/contacts. I suggest you get an eye test (if you have insurance, it probably covers at least part of the exam). If you actually do have cataracts, they would be able to tell from the same eye test. Cataracts are sort of uncommon (but not impossible) in young people.

this doesn't sound like cataracts at all!
stop being so paranoid.
sounds like you just need glasses or if you already where glasses then you need a stronger prescription.
go to your eye dr.

i'm 24 and i've had eye problems my whole life. i was born visually impaired. i've had 4 detached retinas (twice in each eye), and i developed glaucoma at the age of 11, and i developed a cataract a couple years ago and had it fixed in may 2009.
trust me i know eye problems.
