I am 13, do you think I have cataracts.?!
Question: I am 13, do you think I have cataracts.?
I see blurry / double from a distance. Up close no, and when I squint it goes away. I'm 13 years old.
It's in both eyes, it's light blur from a distance only and it's only bad enough so that you can't reconize detail but when I squint most of it takes away. Not nothing big that effects me badly. I also notice shines / crystals coming from sources of light such as a lightbolb as if you were to look at a lightbulb while your eyes were watery. Is this something I should worry or panic about?
why don't you think this is cataracts

Young people do not have cataracts unless they are born with them. You are almost certainly myopic and /or astigmatic
hm... not common in youth. your just nearsighted and need glasses. about the shine from a lightbulb, i have that too and i think it's called night glare. does the shine from a light only happen at night?
