Why are my eyes like this?!
Question: Why are my eyes like this?
I understand that I am nearsighted, everything that I see far is blurry, but why? How? I don't get it!

When you look at distance, the cornea and the lens of your eyes aren't able to focus the light rays correctly on your retina because your eyes are a tiny bit too long , so the image would be ready to form before it gets to the retina ( in theory ) but starts dispersing before it finally gets there.
That's why you need a concave lens, to lengthen that light ray so that is reaches the retina in a straight line , and gets all the way there.

It is because of the mal-arrangement of the lens.
