Question: Can bloody tears be caused by severe emotional stress?
Emily, this friend of a friend of mine, went over to my friend's house crying. Recently, Emily's parents and two of her brothers died in a house fire, and her last brother who had lived got really angry at her and told her he wished she'd died too, which was when she went to my friend's house. She was crying hysterically for a while, then she started to cry blood tinted tears. Is this okay if you are really hysteric?

I've never heard of anyone crying pink or red bloody tears. She needs to see an eye doctor and probably also needs professional mental help. She has been through a terrible ordeal and should be able to get the help she needs mentally through her school counselor.
No, I don't think it is... but I'm no doctor, so I'm not totally sure. Perhaps it can happen under special circumstances.
