I want an eye exam but my last one was in june?!

If you are having problems seeing the board at school then definitely speak to your Mum, when I was your age I did need 2 perscription renewals only 6 months apart. If its not giving you real problems then try and work out how far away the things are which are blurry - can other people see them? If so make a list and then discuss it with your Mom. Telling your Mom you have this or that problem is the way to bring it up but wait for a moment when she isnt' really busy and you have her attention as its easy not to really think about what people are saying when you are busy. Parents do like to hear about anything their children are worried about - but it helps them if you can talk about what is worrying you clearly with examples.

You could just go ahead and get another eye exam but you'd probably be wasting your time because your eyes most likely won't be bad enough yet to get glasses (You didn't say, so I'm assuming you don't have any glasses yet). In my experience, they typically don't prescribe glasses until your vision is blurry enough to cause problems.Your eyes probably have gotten worse since June, but unless it's causing you problems, I would go ahead and wait till next year, you probably won't *really* need them until then. Talk to your mom about it too and see what she thinks. Good luck!
