WHY?
I am an optometry intern.
Get a jar, fill it with vinegar (or formaldehyde), and then place the eyeball in there. It'll preserve well, like a pickle.
Is this practical or theoretical?
You can't reimplant an eye, so if it "falls out" it's done.
