Question: Can any optical shop repair monofilament wire on half frame glasses?
i'm not sure if its called monofilament wire... its the wire that holds the lense and frame together for those half framed glasses.
if the wire are broken, can any optical shop fix it by putting in a new wire?
and if i'm out, than the wire broke, will the lense just drop to the floor and can't be found?

Most, if not all, optical shops should be able to replace the filament.
If it should break for no reason (unlikely) and you're just standing there, sure, the lens would drop out. But most likely you would just bend over and pick it up, and go have it repaired.
