Question: My eye, please read.?

I was playing basketball with my dad, and when he was going for the layup, he hit me in the eye, pretty hard, and it feel's like it's pushed in, and it is red. will it heal on it's own?

Actually.... something like that ought to be seen by an eye doctor. If the eye bleeds internally (you'll see swarms of floaters or an area will go blurred), if the retina tears (you'll see flashing lights) then this is an emergency. Also the bruising can increase the pressure in the eye which is not good.

You should be alright if you just cool it down a bit and rest for a while, may as well rub aloe gel on the eyelid.

Common sense. :P

Give it a day or two with some ice on it and if it hasn't healed up go to your doctor.
