Question: IS THIS TOO MUCH OF A JUMP IN GLASSES PRESCRIPTION?
my glasses prescription was 1.50+ 0.25+ and axis 90 and in my right eye it was 1.75 + 0.25+ and 94 axis. Recently my vision has become blurred i went to the opticians today and the new prescription she came up with was 2.25 + 0.75+ and 175 axis and on my right it was 2.75 + 0.75+ and axis was 5. Is this normal for a teenager 15 years old . I started wearing my older glasses in may and i had a check up in august and it was ok but to have deteriorated this much is weird. Also what does the axis and stigma do for my eye and how did it come down to 5?

No, but if you experience headaches or bad vision, Go back to the eye doctor. And are you wearing them all day? You should be. My Rx is similar and I have to. Taking them off will strain your eyes and then it will become longer until you're used to them ;)
