do i need glasses? please help?!

Question: Do i need glasses? please help?
i'm 13 and a lot of the time i squint to see the board at school, but i don't even know if i really have to but i still do. i think it is still clear if i don't but i don't know why i do. and i tried my friends really low prescription glasses and things were clear. sometimes things like the board that are far away go a bit blurry but than sometimes it returns to normal. it's changed a lot over the past week and yeah.
oh and i was on the xbox with my brother, i think about 8 to 10 feet away from the tv and it kept blurring a tiny bit than going back to normal when i read stuff.
do i need glasses? please help!? advice? thanks. =)

oh and i am 13 so if i need an appointment, i don't know if my mom would believe me and i had one only a few months ago so i don't know what i would say to her.

Answers:

When I was about your age I went to the doctors for the same problem. But they said nothing was wrong. I went back almost five years later because the problems just got worse and they said I had an astigmatism in both eyes. If you're having problems, don't put it off. You don't want to make any problems that may be there worse.

Just tell her the truth. If you were okay a few months ago, you might not be okay now. You really shouldn't try on your friends glasses as it can hurt your eyes.

Yep, you need glasses. :P Get your mom to take you to the optometrist whenever she can. (:

Im a Opticon and it sounds like you need to go see the eye doctor.

myself

Ya you need glasses.

maybe you need glasses just to see further away, my sister had the same problem and she got glasses. i think she was 13 too
