I NEED GLASSES AND NEED ADVISE PLEASE?!

When I first got my glasses at 15 I had the same reaction; 12 years later I love wearing glasses. I don't like fashion with clothes and I guess glasses are how I can express myself. They way I pick glasses is based on the shape of my face; I have a round face so rectangle glasses look better on me. My bf has a long, oval shaped face and circular glasses look best on him. Always best to pick frame shape based on if you have a round or oval shaped face -trust me.

I can understand how you feel and it would be nice to promise you that noone will laugh. However at school there is often one person who will cease on any chance to be nasty and glasses are just one of those standard chances. Not everyone will laugh though. Before you wear them to school speak to your friends and tell them that you are having glasses - sound sort of cool about it but don't just suprise them by suddenly turning up with glasses on. They will then have time to be supportive and be interested to see what you look like with glasses on. Anyone who does make nasty remarks you will just have to ignore - there will always be people who do this type of thing. Don't forget that contacts may be an option for you.

those are nice and you will look sophisticatedly smart.. But if you weren't sure, you should try the ones with thin frames or no frames at all, then your friends wouldn't really notice

dood I know some girls that would wear glasses to make them look smarter, and they actually looked hot and even more phuckable

Even if your friends find it funny the first day , they will get used to it , and soon it will be no big deal.
