This is night blindness it can be due to many different causes
one cause of night blindness is a deficiency of retinol, or vitamin A, found in fish oils, liver and dairy products.
Go to your doctor to investigate the cause and treat properly

I can comment for myself. I am slightly myopic. During the day i can see most things pretty clearly. But because of the way the pupils dilate during the night, vision becomes less clear and more of a blur. So for most people dark conditions reveal the true extent of ther myopia. If you never had a problem in a eyetest then there would be a problem in another area.
