My eyes are always twitching- why?!

Question: My eyes are always twitching- why?
(I'm 13)
The corners of my eyes are always twitching (the far corners). I didn't think other people noticed it until a kid at school told me I was "so twitchy". I've had this problem for a while, it sort of comes and goes. I have OCD, it might be that, but does anybody know what else this could be?

Answers:

There could be many causes, but I doubt that it is something serious. I have the same twitching problem, and I have been told that it is caused by eye strain that comes from sleeping poorly. As another answerer mentioned, you might be lacking potassium (which can be found in bananas). A lack of potassium can cause muscles to tense up and twitch. So I would recommend not straining your eyes--get more sleep, do not read in poor light, and do not stay on the computer for extended periods of time. Also, eat a banana or talk with your parents/doctor about taking a supplement if thie problem persists. Good luck :)

haha im 13 too
ok im weird i thought that was funny
anyways thats happens to me too and its apparently because i dont get enough sleep
which is true since i get like 5 hours a night and when i do get a good nights sleep in the weekends my eyes arent so twitchy :D
